That’s right… ATT is now offering refurb versions of the 8gb iPhone 3G for $99. That is a pretty good deal. Each phone is warrantied and guaranteed to be fixed from whatever it is that made the previous owner return it.
Now, that is a deal on the phone, but not the plan unfortunately. New service is still going to cost a pretty penny. Here’s a breakdown of the montly cost:
Data plan for iPhone (required) – $30
450 minutes individual (lowest plan offered) – $39.99
iPhone Text Messaging Unlimited – $20
Wow, that is $89.99 a month, not including taxes and all that other stuff that they add on. And that is ONLy 450 minutes! Although, that does include rollover which is always a plus.
I am lucky enough to have my job pay for my phone.

Personally, I just can't see it…I use Cricket which has Unlimited everything for $50/mo can hardly beat that, that's for web access too. Granted, it's not an iphone, but it's much more affordable thank you.
