Everyone knows these days that Facebook is a huge social networking site. At first, it can be overwhelming and a bit hard to figure out, but once you get used to it, you realize that it is a lot more interactive than Myspace. At least I think so. It’s easier to keep up with what friends are doing, and easier to respond to status updates, etc.
So, if you have a blog and need traffic, Facebook is a great way to get some.
To get started you install Wordbook into your Facebook account and install the Wordbook plugin for WordPress on your self-hosted WordPress blog.
It’s pretty simple to setup. Just follow the instructions on both. Once it’s done, each time you publish a new blog post, a blurb about it will pop up on your Facebook wall.
Enjoy!
(If you have a blog hosted on WordPress.com and which to accomplish this, see the WordPress App for Facebook.)
UPDATE: This method is pretty dated now. There are newer and better ways to do this using Networked Blogs. Check that out. I have not written a post yet. But feel free to contact me with questions.
