Last week I participated in a web conference with Kijiji.com. They previewed the new version of their web engine and asked for feedback from a few of us they deemed the “Kijiji Classifieds Web Committee”. We watched a demo and made suggestions for slight improvements here and there on the site.
Overall, I think the changes that they made are awesome. The site is much cleaner, easier to use, and information is easier to find. The product images are larger, responding to an ad is now a piece of cake, as is posting an ad.
So if you are looking to buy or sell something in your area, please check out Kijiji.com. In my opinion, it is now a lot more appealing and more user friendly than Craig’s List.

I agree, it looks gorgeous. I’m still a little worried about the big security hole documented at the above web site … Kijiji.com’s been told about it, but a couple of days in, it doesn’t appear anything’s been done about it.
