Web Sharing with The Pluzit Button

One of the best tools that you can use for yourself and your readers on your blog is one that easily allows the reader to share your content. This will only bring good things to your blog. If a reader likes a post they can easily broadcast it to their 2000+ Twitter followers, or 500 Facebook friends, Stumble it, bookmark it, and more. And the easier this can happen, the better.

There are several advantages to using bookmark buttons:

  • Promotes your website
  • Increases traffic through external sharing
  • Encourages readers to share
  • Increases page rank (through external links)

There are several plugins available that let you bookmark and share your content. Some are a bit big, some elaborate, some call for quite a bit of setup.

If a small, unobtrusive button is what you are looking for, then check out Pluzit. Pluzit allows you to generate a share button for your website or blog. You can also enable sharing for Myspace or a newsletter. Blogging platforms supported are WordPress, TypePad, Blogger, and others (via html). Setup is easy, but if you run into trouble you can check out the video tour for help.

It also allows you to completely style and customize the button by adding a logo, changing the background color, branding it, or other options. The HTML can be directly edited to give you the affect that you need.

Do you share content that you read? If not, you should be. I am all about paying it forward both to my readers and other blogs that I read.  I am pretty anal about constantly tweaking my blog to get everything working to my liking, and to make certain that content is easy to find and share. I love the theme that I have now, but there are a few things that I would like to change. Ease of use and sharing is at the top of the list as I browse the web looking for theme alternatives. But with an easy to configure tool like Pluzit, jumping from theme to theme and trying out all the options and looks is easy.

Check out Pluzit today, and get your content moving.
