With Christmas right around the corner a lot of us have shopping on the brain. And if you are anything like me you want to make sure that they get the best price on items that you are purchasing. I do a lot of online shopping because it it SO much easier than fighting crowds at the stores. And, unless there is some super awesome sale at the store I can usually find the items that I need much cheaper online.
This is where Digital Folio comes in handy. Instead of jumping from site to site to site, I can install the Digital Folio plugin into my Firefox or Internet Explorer browser. It runs as a sidebar on the left side. And as I browse items on a site like Amazon.com it instantly brings up a list of other sites and their prices on that product. It does not work with all products and prices… yet. But, it certainly does give a good picture and quick view of possible better deals. And they are expanding every day. Digital Folio provides real-time comparisons on several categories of product. Current categories include some electronics, children’s car seats, and home appliances.
I tried it out and I can totally see myself using this on a daily basis. ESPECIALLY over the next month. No more searching all over the web jumping to several comparison sites to find the best price?? That is definitely a time saver.
You can check out the video below to see it in action:
