Failed Already… #31WriteNow – 31 Posts in August 2013

google-calendar-iconSo like… I was going to do the #31WriteNow Challenge with Luvvie, then this weekend happened. I missed 3 days…. already…. at the beginning. Ugh. The past few days were crazy busy and I was hardly home to write. I am trying again now. I may try to make up for those 3 days by posting multiple posts a couple of days this week.

The concept is simple… post something on your blog EVERY DAY in August. I can do that right?? It is much easier said than done. Some days I end up mulling all day over a website design, some photography edits, or something else. By the time I finish… I’m beat. Or, if I take some time to write a post I feel guilty working on something of mine instead of client work. But the fact of the matter is, that I must support myself too, right? Right!

So, I am going to TRY to post every day. I do not know if I will make it, especially since I have another trip (more on that later) planned at the end of this month. I am certainly going to try. I don’t actually have to write each and every day, some posts can be scheduled.

And you want to know what is nuts? I laid out an editorial calendar for this month. Instead of going “Hmm… what will I write about each day?” I just referred to my long list of posts, reviews, and campaigns, etc. that I need to get done and I was able to fill up the calendar. Wow!

So, yes… this little filler post counts. LOL! But now I am off to write and schedule some real posts for this week. ๐Ÿ™‚

How about you? Would you be able to handle such a challenge on your blog?

Ha I’ve tried all sorts of challenges and LIFE always manages to get in the way. I’ve tried a writing once. Then there was 365 – picture a day, then 52 week challenge a picture a week, and now I’m down to a theme on my blog kinda monthly. You can always try next month. If you do maybe I’ll do it with you.
