Since I have not posted in so long, I never updated. Well, I am very sad to say that Maleikka Williams passed away on April 14, 2008. She was only 36 years old. I flew to Atlanta and met up with my friends for her funeral. It was extremely sad. She leaves behind her husband Steve, and her 2 very young daughters Syndi, and Makayla.
She fought so hard. Just seeing her in January it was amazing to learn about how fast her demise was after that. I miss her terribly. (She’s in the middle of this pic).

Sorry to hear about your lost. Meaning your friends. I just came across this site while building out http://www.poparatzy.com for my younger sister. Your stories of miscarriages and just life in general is facinating. Look this may sound strange coming from a man (a black man), but my wife and I lost two babies due to prematurity. So I feel the pain of all. Keep blogging!

Thank you for this note and the pictures of Maleikka. I found your site yesterday. I was looking for your email address to contact you directly, but it isn’t anywhere (that I could find) on the site.
Maleikka and I are sorority sisters and close friends. I miss her terribly. Your pictures touched me because I talked to her the day that she met up with you all and the day after. She was so excited about the weekend and she had such a great time.
I shared your site with other friends. They were really touched by the pics of her dancing. She LOVED to have a good time!
