Happy Birthday to me!

I’m 36 years young old today. Where the heck does the time go??? It seems like just yesterday I thought it was so cool to be 25, 21.. heck even 16 I can remember!

But now??? I’m 36! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I am on the “other” side of almost 40. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! But what matters?? I have my health, I don’t look 36 (no comments from the peanut gallery) according to other folks. And for the most part, I do NOT feel 36! Well ok, sometimes on those days when the kids WEAR ME OUT!! Then I am thinking “oh Lord, I am old. What have I gotten myself into???” ROFL!! But a good nights sleep, and some coffee and I am all good. 🙂

This is birthday season… my girls bday is in a few days, with the boys right behind in early May. Yes, it is a busy, busy time. 🙂

Hmm.. I feel like I should be setting dramatic goals to accomplish in my life by 40! YIKES!

Happy Birthday! The 40s are actually pretty good. The kids are older, can do more for themselves, you know more and have more confidence (probably because the kids are older and you aren't worrying about every little thing anymore). I've been enjoying my forties more than any other decade.

Awww…happy birthday, girl! And don't worry….the 40's aren't that bad either. LOL I'm going to be 47 this year, but I still feel 25 (except for the arthritis, backaches, bad hips and knees lmao). You look great! You're only as old as you feel. 🙂

Yes, dear, I too can remember when we were thinking how cool it was to be 25. I remember when we turned 21!!! Time flies when we're having a ball. Or a heckuva time. Happy Birthday, baby. 🙂
