Well the first thing I noticed when I opened this app is the really groovy, funky, dance beat that plays! I did not want to click anything else for fear that the music would stop. 🙂 But, after clicking play the soundtrack switched to another song almost as cool as the first. 🙂 And then I was wowed by the cool 3D graphics.
Setting up my cube dog was fun and easy. I created it in under 2 minutes, and I named her Buddy. Once done, you can do cool tricks with your cube dog. He (or she) can flip, sleep, or even call you on her own iPhone! I made my cube dog chase a ball which she then knocked out of the park with a baseball bat. Leave her alone for a bit, and she takes a nap.
The coolest feature to me was that you can incorporate your front or rear camera and take a photo of yourself with your Cube Dog, or take a photo of her in your office. Here she is in my coworkers cubical. (Pun intended!) You can pinch to zoom, rotate, and do more to get your cube dog perfectly positioned for her photo (which I did not do here).
Cube Dog is a fun simple little silly game, but it is addictive. The graphics are great, the music is great, and any cube dog that you create is guaranteed to be adorable.
Remember how people used to (or maybe still do) carry a stuffed animal or something with them all over the world and take photos of it in interesting places? Well now your cube dog can be in the photos! Imagine Buddy the cube dog with her own Twitter page, or blog chronicaling her travel adventures. Hmmm… Photos can then be saved to your iPhone Camera Roll and instantly be uploaded to Facebook, Twitter, or Email.
Cube Dog is available for FREE in the iTunes store! Get it today. You should also check out the Cube Dog Facebook page for a fun contest running now through June 13.

Love the review
My toddler giggled at it hysterically. He named his “puppy”. So straight forward.
