Chiquita #CrushedIt Swap Your Snacks Mission

For the past few days my kids and I have been trying out the Chiquita crushed fruit snack product as part of a challenge to make healthier snack choices. I have to say that it has been very easy. My kids LOVE it, and they keep asking for more. Mission accomplished. 🙂

I love being able to give them something that they not only love, but that I know is good for them. They actually come and ask for it. Usually they snack on some options that are not too bad like graham crackers, fruits, or chips. But, nothing has the nutritional value of the Chiquita crushed fruit snack product. This is even more important in the summer more than usual when kids are home more, and the family may be busy with summer fun. Being able to give them permission to just grab a crushed fruit snack product from the fridge takes a load off my mind. They can reach there instead of the cookie jar. 🙂

And I like it too. When I first read about it I assumed by the name that I was going to fruit snack isle to find some fruit snacks! But nope, it is much better. Each one is based on bananas and full of good fruit.

They go great with or even in place of a light breakfast. I even added some extra fruit to one of mine.

I have never heard of these.  I will try this.  I’m always trying to find new ways to introduce more fruit into our diet.
