The GameChanger is as awesome gift idea. It is a dock accessory that plugs into any iPad. The GameChanger interfaces with the original iPad or iPad 2 via the sync port and turns it into an interactive board game.
How does it work? You simply download the Gamechanger app to your iPad. Then plug the iPad into the Gamechanger port. The app should open automatically.
There are 3 games to choose from:
- Animal Mania
- The Magic School Bus
- Kaboom
And more games are on the way.
Each game comes with it’s own game skin that you apply which when it’s time to play. You also choose a game piece based on the characters in the game. 2- 4 players can play. And the games are suited for any age. I enjoyed playing too! Everyone’s favorite part seemed to be that you can actually spin the wheel using the iPad.
Playing could not be easier or more fun. My kids and checked out The Magic School bus right away. The game was so much fun! It is very easy for the little ones to follow and they had a ball.

Monopoly or Scrabble. Monopoly is great but can take too long though. Scrabble is pretty decent and doesn’t take too long.
