Tonight I am hosting a dinner for myself and 9 blogger friends here in Chicago to celebrate Mother’s Day. The dinner is brought to us courtesy of Treat.com and my friends at Flavor 180. Why? Because moms deserve to be treated of course!
What would be your ideal treat for Mother’s Day? On the news this morning they said that a study shows that most moms want a spa day. That does not surprise me at all. I have been treated to an awesome spa experience once and it was heaven! I got a full body lavender and salt exfoliation + massage. I have never been so relaxed in my life. Well maybe once, when I was in the hospital and doped up on several things to ward off preterm labor. LOL!
I could totally go for another spa day along with a manicure and pedicure, preferably followed by a relaxing day on the beach. Ahh….
Ok, back to reality… if I cannot have the spa day right now, a card and some nice flowers will always do the trick. I am not a big candy eater, so you can save your money there. Treat.com is an awesome new site from Shutterfly that allows you to send beautiful greeting cards without much hassle. It is not a virtual card. It is a REAL card personalized and sent to your loved one. Treat.com will put a stamp on the card for you and mail it. How cool is that? No more fighting over the slim pickings left at the store. You can do it all online and get the best. There are several awesome Mother’s Day Cards available.

I actually mail cards for every occasion, there is just something about having a card in your hand, reading the sentiments, that you just can’t get from a text,or e-mail
