Check out the Intel Experience at Best Buy

One of the cool things about Best Buy is the ability to go to one store and lay your eyes on all the electronics that your eyes can handle! I could spend all day in the computer section alone. It is a great place to check out several computers, compare specs, and find just what you are looking for. But how do you know what to buy? Navigating the many aisles cannot be easy. If you are looking for an easier way to find the right computer it may be here.

Intel is the easily the most trusted name and most popular name in computers. However, they may not get all the recognition that they deserve. Why? Intel technology is under the hood of our computer. While you may look for a specific brand name, unless you are a techy you may not even think about the processor inside. Chances are, that is Intel. Whether you are buying a Toshiba, HP, Acer, or even a Macbook… Intel is probably inside.

Last year around this time I visited a very cool pop-up store that Intel setup in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. And now the Intel Experience Zone has been added to 50 Best Buy stores in major United States markets.

The dedicated area inside some Best Buy stores is a one stop shop to test drive computers and tablets that run on Intel processors. There you can touch and experience several different brand names of computers to find exactly what you are looking for.

There is often an Intel trained blue shirt employee on hand to answer questions. Instead of just researching a computer online and making a purchase, consumers have the chance to actually touch them and get a feel for exactly what they are buying. Buyers ranging from tech enthusiasts to technophobes are able to play with machines, explore the technology, and be inspired by the different ways that the computers powered by Intel can be used.

The Intel Experience Zones include 240 sq feet of several stations to show you exactly what you can do with an Intel powered machine. There's a station to test out your DJ skills and remix one of R&B artist Neyo's tracks using a sleek Toshiba touch screen convertible laptop.

Or you can check out Mars Escapes, a reality augmentation game that lets you test drive a Mars rover.

There is also a 3D printing station where you can create and print your very own 3D robot. If you have not seen a 3D printer in action yet, you should definitely check it out! It is amazing technology.

If you are in the market for a new computer for yourself or a Christmas gift, or you just want to get your hands on some awesome Intel powered machines, check out the Intel Experience Zone at one of the 50 US stores. See the Best Buy Intel Experience website for more information.
