🌿 8 Stylish & Functional Harvest Baskets for Your Garden Haul! 🌿

Let’s talk about something every gardener secretly (or not-so-secretly) obsesses over… harvest baskets! 🧺 You know, those beautiful, functional, sturdy, sometimes colorful, and often totally necessary garden companions. Well… I might have a few. Ok, a lot. 😅

Recently, I added even more to my collection—and yes, I do hear the whispers: “How many harvest baskets does one person need?” But listen—when the garden is in full swing and produce is coming at you faster than zucchinis in July—you’re going to be glad you’ve got options!

The funny part? By the end of the season, every single one of these baskets is likely to be in use. Tomatoes in one, green beans in another, herbs, lettuce, peppers, cucumbers… it adds up fast, y’all. So I’m calling this collection a strategic necessity, not a hoarding problem. 😂

Here’s a peek at my current stash and where you can snag them (or similar ones). Fair warning—some of these prices have gone up since I bought them, but I scored most of mine on sale or clearance.

🧺 My Garden Harvest Basket Collection

🌸 Gardeners Garden Hod Harvest Basket
I just got these recently. I love them! They are stackable, lightweight, affordable, and easy to rinse out. They seem very sturdy too.

8/6/2025 note: They seem to be sold out most places right now. And the price is high!

Amazon | Walmart | Target | Gardener’s Supply

And a bonus is that you can get the Mod Hod Trolley that lets you roll 3 of the around your garden.

🔵 IKEA Metal Blue Handle Basket
A solid go-to. Lightweight, affordable, and easy to rinse out. IKEA has surprisingly cute garden finds! Can’t make it to Ikea? Here’s a 2 Pack of Harvest Baskets on Amazon that are exactly the same.

🔘 Gray Handle Basket – Aldi Find (2023)
Pretty identical to the IKEA basket above, this was one of those “run and grab it” moments. If you see garden gear at Aldi—don’t sleep on it! It goes fast. Check for garden finds from about early April through early June.

🌸 Hutzler Large & Mini Colanders – Pink & Yellow
I love these for washing lettuce and herbs right in the garden. The minis are great for kids or small harvests.
📦 Amazon | Walmart

🌱 Large Garden Hod – Gardeners Supply or Amazon
Classic, sturdy, and now beautifully weathered. Perfect for big hauls. Mine came from Gardener’s Suply, but others have the same exact design available.

🪴 Gray Baskets – Walmart Clearance
These Expert Gardener Harvest Baskets were out of stock for a while, but they are back. I was lucky to catch them on clearance, but they are also on the site. I love them because they are stackable.

🖤 Black Fiskars Basket
This one is a favorite. I now have 4 of them thanks to sales. I love the separation. And they are durable, roomy, and easy to carry. TIP: Only one side of this comes with holes in it. I drilled holes in the other side too! It’s easy and quick.

✨ BONUS Finds for Fellow Basket Lovers

🧡 Sorting Baskets – Dollar Tree
These are great for sorting peppers, tomatoes and more. I also use them on my kitchen scale when it’s time to weigh my harvests. They are rinse easily and they are very sturdy. And you cannot beat $1.25. If you decide you want a bunch you can order 24 Essentials Rectangular Plastic Baskets right on the website and pick them up at your local store or have them shipped.

The bamboo basket in the pic is from the At Home Store. I have several of these that I use for various things.

So… Do I Have Enough?

That’s the million-dollar question. But since it’s now August and the harvests are rolling in they get used! And then at the end of the season when every tomato, cucumber, and squash demands a ride back to the house, I promise you—I’ll be using every last one of these babies. 🙌

Are you a fellow harvest basket hoarder? Let me know which ones you love or what you’re eyeing for next season. And remember, friends: there’s no such thing as too many harvest baskets—just too little garden. 😉

Happy harvesting!
