The economy has not been the greatest the past few years. Several people (myself included) have lost jobs. Some people are lucky and they return to work right away. Others are not so lucky. They may look for a while before finding something. Then there is the group that decide that they do not want to work for anyone else. They want to be their own boss, run their own business, and make a name for themselves.

These people often become entrepreneurs. Some become franchise owners. There are many franchises out there. And without the owners that put in the hard work we may not be able to visit some of our favorite places. Many of the stores, restaurants, and other businesses that we visit are franchises. Supercuts is one of those.

But what exactly goes into running a Supercuts franchise? Many believe the misconception that you have to know how to cut hair to own a franchise. That is just not true! As the business owner, you hire licensed professionals to handle that for you. Wondering exactly what an owner does?  The Supercuts Franchising website explains it well. As an owner your responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting a strong staff
  • Establishing ties to your local community
  • Selecting and implementing marketing plans
  • Building income by executing company strategies
  • Empowering employees by delegating responsibility
  • Working with Regis to ensure the growth of your company
  • Providing vision and accountability for operational excellence

And Supercuts is one of the most recognizable names in the haircutting industry. They have reasonable prices and they are family friendly. Whole families go there to get their hair cut. We see the commercials with the super cute haircuts. The people look happy don’t they? LOL. A great haircut will do that. As a franchise owner you can bask in the glory that your business makes your customers happy. And since it is a franchise you have a whole company of support behind you. You will not be on your own. The Supercuts brand is widely recognized. It’s also backed by national advertising, so there should be no fear of having trouble getting business.
