Would you believe that I still have the LEGOS from when I was a kid? Yep. I do. LEGOS are still around and kids everywhere still love them. And my kids still get them everywhere in the house! But, times have changed. Thanks to technology, TV, and movies, LEGOS are even more popular than they once were. Yep, LEGOS have evolved and gotten their own games and movies. As a mother to two 10-year old boys, I hear my fair share about LEGOs and Batman! Bringing the two together is awesome for fans everywhere. That brings us to the LEGO Batman Movie App!

This Friday the LEGO Batman Movie hits theaters everywhere. But, before then you can download and play with the LEGO Batman Movie App on your iOS or Android device!

The game allows you to run like Batman, drive like Batman, DJ (yes, really) like Batman… Basically you can BE Batman!

When starting out the game gives you great tips on how to play by teaching moves to jump, army crawl, and even throw boomerangs and swing from the rafters using tools from his utility belt!

You choose whether you want to be Batman or Batgirl. Also, unlock characters like Kimono Batman, Scuba Batman, Dick Grayson, and others as you play the game. You can also unlock other Batmobiles as you play.

I admit, I am not very good! LOL! I’m sure that I could be better with practice.

LEGO Batman Game Modes

RUN, DRIVE & FLY: Play as LEGO Batman. Run, Jump and Grapple through Gotham & Arkham Asylum. Drive your Batmobile and fly the Batwing to battle Villain Bosses such as the Joker, the Penguin and Poison Ivy!

BUILD A CUSTOM VEHICLE

Want to trick out your Batmobile? You can! Unlock and modify epic vehicles from The LEGO Batman Movie such as The Batmobile, the Joker’s Notorious Lowrider and Bane’s Toxic Truck. Once customized, you can add them to the game and use them to destroy Gotham’s most evil villains!

DJ MODE 

Tap your way to the beat of the rhythm and nail that beat! Featuring music from The LEGO Batman Movie. Each time Batman looks like he’s ready to hang up his Batboots he has the opportunity to save himself with DJ MODE!

The LEGO Batman Movie

After you have played the game a few days, head out to the theater to see the movie!

A spin-off from the original LEGO movie, Batman gets his own feature! The movie stars Will Arnett as the voice of Batman. There are changes brewing in Gotham, and he has to save the city (of course) from The Joker’s Hostile takeover.
