Potty training my girls was super easy. At least that’s the way I remember it. They were trained in 2 weeks flat with very few accidents after that. They were about 2 years and 2 months. My boys are now 3 years 1 month and still not potty trained. They have not had much interest. It seems to be getting better though. Well… yes and no. Tonight Kristopher wore his Scooby Doo undies and successfully used the big toilet (standing up!) twice!! Meanwhile…. Jayden pee’d all over the couch and his sister. LOL!! Luckily the couch is leather. Kayla was not so lucky. 🙂
I thought that Jayden would be the first one to be completely trained. He loves to sit on the pot, he just doesn’t usually do anything.
I think what I need is to spend 3-4 days with them home alone and concentrate on keeping them going to the pot!
Any mom’s of boys have advice for me??

My first set of twins has been my hardest potty training experience yet! My 2 oldest boys were easy and were out of diapers at 2 1/2 years. My twin girls are 3 now and one is still in diapers, one is trained. It’s so frustrating! I feel your pain!
(I’m happy I found your blog-I love reading about other mamas with 2 sets of twins!)

OMG..I know exactly how you feel. My little girl was PT by the time she was 2 and did it all on her own. She just started taking off her diaper and sitting on the potty (clearly I missed that sign beforehand to just put her there..LOL)
But my little guy…URGH!!! The twins are now 4 and he’s daytime potty trained..no prob! But at night I was still getting up to take him and kept a pull up on him because laundry soap is expensive and we were hittin the washer EVERYDAY!
Talked to my doc, friends & family….funny how all this info comes out once you start asking questions. Because I was told to just chill. That’s it! Boys are so different girls (as I’m sure you know too) There bladders just probably aren’t ready to hold it that long. And to make sure that they empty there bladders completely when they go . This was huge for me because my little guy is ALWAYS in a hurry! Hurry to eat, hurry to play…just hurry up and go nowhere.
Hang in there twin mama…oh yeah..the pee thing! Man……..BOYS are just plain messy.
