Win 100 Postcards from UPrinting.com!

December 16, 2009 by Kris McDonald

postcard_upUprinting.com is sponsoring an awesome giveaway for one of you to win 100 postcards! Postcards are awesome as invitations, thank you cards, or note cards.

I LOVE postcards. I use them for several things. They are awesome for passing out at functions.

UPDATE 1/4/2010: It has come to my attention that some folks may think that postcards are only for mailing and by default have the “mailing side” on the back. NOT TRUE AT ALL!! When ordering custom postcards each side can have WHATEVER YOU WANT on them, or the back can be completely blank for writing on them. The term postcard simply means it's a 4 x 6 sized piece of card stock. What you use them for is completely up to you!  I keep a stack of postcards with me so that when I am at events I can stack them on tables, etc. advertising my photography business. The front side shows sample photos and products, the back side lists all the products and services that I offer.

The Prize

100 Postcards for one (1) lucky winner (worth approx. $34)
Size: 4×6
Paper: 14pt Cardstock Gloss;
Printing: Full color both sides
Shipping:
Sponsored bloggers and Winners have to pay for shipping (approx. $7 for 4 day shipping)

The Contest

1. Leave a comment telling me how you would use your postcards. Get as creative as you like.

Optional Extra entries:

2. Follow me on Twitter.

3. RT my Giveaway on Twitter. Just click the Retweet button in the upper right hand corner.

4. Subscribe to me via Networked blogs or Google Friend Connect.

(If you do any of the extra entries, please let me a comment so I know!)

The Winner

Will be selected on New Years Day! January 1, 2010.

Good luck!!

CONTEST CLOSED, THE WINNER IS RUBY! Thanks everyone for participating. Stay tuned for more contests coming up soon.

Disclosure: I will also be receiving 100 postcards from UPrinting.com for hosting the giveaway.

    Hey there!
    I will be using my cards to advertise my business along with businesses I partner with. With workign full time again, I am still trying to get myself off the ground and this will help me achieve that.

    If not, I will use them as 'Welcome to 2010″ picture cards from the family with our picture on it….hmmm, do I know 100 people who would want a picture of my family? hahahahahaha

    Oh yay so glad I still have time to enter. Well I would put my postcards to work asap. Being that we are a military family we have tons of family and friends all over the world. We usually update them all about the kids via email, blog, facebook or letters but a postcard would be the cutest simplest way to show off our kiddos with a quick message. I would even scan some of little mans art work and make it his very own art work to all our friends and family just to show them how much we care and miss them all. Our postcards would travel to NY, NJ, MARYLAND, FLORIDA, TX, WASHINGTON, all over Cali and even Japan and Mexico. I hope I win!

    As my Project 365 draws to a close, which involved taking a picture a day for 365 days, I plan to create some sort of montage to summarize the year. I’d send postcards of this to people who were photographed as part of the project, and to people who were very encouraging throughout the project — following the photostream, leaving supportive comments, etc.

      @Terri,

      I LOVE that idea! I tried to force myself to do a photo a day once year. Needless to say I did not make it. 🙂 That is so cool that you did it! I would love to check out all of your photos.
