I am. Mom of Hue launched on December 7, 2009 with a great twitter party, giveaways, and more. Moms of Hue is made up of a great group of Mom writers of different ethnicity’s of Hue. I came on soon after and so far have published 3 articles for them. The latest is On being an online mom.
Moms of Hue is currently made up of 12 writers from a variety of background who have different views on motherhood, life, and writing. Read below for the idea behind the site.
Moms of Hue, founded by Kristina Daniele and Renee J. Ross, exists to provide a forum of discussion about issues specific to Moms of Color and women and men raising children of color.
We are single, married, multiracial, stay at home, work from home, traditional working moms, and entrepreneurs.
We are a group of women from all walks of life sharing our unique views on motherhood from a perspective that is often underrepresented in the blogging world.
In short, we are mothers of color with a lot to say about issues relevant to us including politics, images in the media, schooling choices, parenting issues, and so much more.
Check out In the Spotlight for a closer look at the Voices of Moms of Hue.
