The Magical Collection from Carol’s Daughter

February 7, 2010 by Kris McDonald 1 Comment

My girls are 6. For the past couple of years they have already been into makeovers, dressing up, manicures and such. They are definitely girly girls and they love to look pretty. We were given the opportunity to try out The Magical Beauty Collection from Carol's Daughter. It is a Princess Tiana themed hair and body collection. We received shampoo, conditioner, and bubble bath.

The packaging is beautiful and really gives off the feeling of salon products (which greatly impresses 6 year olds!) Each bottle includes a catchy phrase of self-confidence. The shampoo says “The Beauty Within”, the conditioner “Inner Shine” and the bubble bath “Sharing Means Caring”. The products are pediatric tested, and use all natural ingredients and no harm chemicals which is always a plus.

They saw the Princess & the Frog with their Grandmother and they loved it. I wanted to go, but I agreed to let her have a day with her girls. They cannot stop talking about it. I didn't get to see it, but I heard all about it. They recited almost the whole movie to me. They were really into it. I will be running to buy the DVD as soon as it comes out so that I can finally see it, and we can watch it over and over together.

They were super excited when these products arrived at home. We shampooed and conditioned while they enjoyed a bubble bath. All of the products smell great. Even my girls commented on that. Their hair was left feeling very soft, manageable  and smelling great. I look forward to using it again and again. They also offer detangler, which I did not receive, but I am excited to get and check out.
