LG Optimus One – Another Great Android Smartphone

December 6, 2010 by Kris McDonald 2 Comments

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of LG. All opinions are 100% mine.

lg optimus oneAs you already know, I have fallen in love with the Android operating system. Right now, the market seems to be cornered by HTC and Motorola having the best devices. But, as is normal in the Smartphone game, there is always a new kid on the block, and always a chance for something great to come along. Enter the LG Optimus. LG is known for great electronics. And now they are showing that they can also do smartphones.

While the specs are not quite as souped up as the competition, this is still a solid device. And the experience for the user is optimized to make the phone less intimidating. The tweaked interface makes is easy to access what you need. With a bright clear 3.2″ HVGA screen, Android 2.2 OS, and 3.0 mp camera, and microSD slot that can take up to 32gb, this phone can handle a lot.

The LG Optimus One offers all the great things that we already love about Android devices which means it has great Google integration. The Gmail client on Android is the best. It pays to have a device built for Google usage. You can also use Google Voice Search, Google Maps which has EXCELLENT navigation skills, Google Gobbles and more. It also has access to the Android Marketplace. Guesstimates put over 100,000 apps in there. Anything from games to productivity apps with a TON of them being free. And free is good. 🙂 I always load up my phones with a ton of apps, so when I am out, I can do what I need to without necessarily having to drag a computer with me.

If you are in the market for a good smartphone, check out the LG Optimus. It will be available in over 90 countries via 120 carriers.

That DLNA sharing looks pretty cool, is that available in the Optimus as well as the Optimus 7?
