You heard that right. In honor of Christmas, which I LOOOVE, I wanted to do something great for my readers and give you all a chance to win some great gadgets! A couple of years ago, I got a Western Digital External Drive. I loved it, and told everyone to get one. Then I had a bad truck accident, Truck totaled, I spent a few days in the hospital. About a month after the accident, I tried the now very battered drive which I had with me during the crash. EVERYTHING WAS STILL THERE! Cut to present day, and I’m STILL USING IT! The problem is so does everyone else in my family! WHEN I can get it, it is overloaded with everyone else’s pictures, and files. Help! If I win, I will let the old one and a new one go to the family, and all will be right with the world! Well, maybe not all, but definitely in my home office!

Oh do I need this. I have an extra internal drive and I had an external toshiba drive (that worked 2x) – this was my backup solution. I would do a shadow copy. This way I’d always have 2 backups in case one crashed. I’m in love with photography and started taking video. My drive space is getting eaten away by my internal photo bug. WD – you have never let me down. I need you now to help me preserve my little girls memories and be part of the beginning of my photography business.

Having lost a hard drive before, we could use these for backing up our laptops.
I made the mistake of buying a laptop two years ago with Windows Vista. It eats up so much of your storage. I can’t play any games on my laptop or even save most of the mp3s that I have. Most of my music and documents are on about a hundred flash drives and I still can’t play a single game on my Lenovo! It’s crazy.

im a music producer so i have a lot of programs and instruments and sounds on my computer…i can always use extra storage!
I like the idea of being able to transfer my files between computers. When I am on the go it will help out tremendously.

Oh, I REALLY do need those! I have one portable hard drive that is filling up fast…especially since I started taking all my pics in RAW format!
This prize would be absolutely perfect for me! After my Dell lap-top hard drive failure and losing EVERYTHING – pictures, documents, memories.. that I will never get back. I’m a graphic designer so losing everything I’ve done was so devastating! So then I decided to get a MacBook, having a little more faith. I started from scratch.. and just a few weeks after I had it — Guess what? HARD DRIVE failed! I was SO upset.. and promised myself that I really need to get a back up storage device. But I just don’t have the money right now thanks to college tuition. 🙁 Thank you for the opportunity of this awesome giveaway! Have a wonderful Holiday!

well my computer is so full of music and pictures,it takes 20 minutes to open,,and wont let me defrag it because there is only 2% memory so im not using my p.c.downstairs anymore and cant get to my music anymore…this would help ,,,,,very much,,,merry christmas to all

OOOOOhhh I don’t really enter giveaways, but I couldn’t resist this one. I have currently have a 320 GB Western Digital, but I could use ALL the space I can get running over 15 websites and managing all the pictures I take of my little Chris (lol). Seriously though, I have had my share of crashes and web hacks so I am a FIRM believer in backing my stuff up. To me, more storage is always welcome (BIG SMILE). Why I need more storage… My husband is in the US Army, and we have 5 kids. He is leaving in a few weeks for his 4th deployment, and I take photos every single day of everything he misses, so he can participate via digital photos. We also do lots of videos and story writing to keep the lines of communication open. We are always in need of more storage, but especially with the newest deployment starting up soon. Thank you 🙂
I am one of those Mom’s that take my camera EVERYWHERE!! So I am constantly taking pics and my poor laptop doesn’t have enough memory to hold them all. External hard drives are very expensive and for a mother of 4 kids this would be AWESOME to have! Good luck to all that enter!

I share with my daughter music and this would really come in handy for us to separate our music… Evidiently her teenage music shouldnt be mixed with my “old” music. The other would be perfect for me for my school files! I am starting my Masters program in a month!!!
Because I take a zillion pictures and I’ve already filled up my computer and another hard drive.
You know I’m entering everyday – Storage, shoot we all need more storage. Especially us bloggers – with all the audio, video, and photos we deal with.
