Great Gift: New TiVo Premiere – Another Way to Watch Online Content and More

This post brought to you by TiVo. All opinions are 100% mine.

Yep, it continues. I am STILL telling you ways to watch online content. What can I say? I LOVE these gadgets. Do you think I’m obsessed??? πŸ™‚ Maybe a little. But seriously. There is SO much great content online, why continue to pay a huge cable bill??

This time I am going to talk about TiVo. TiVo has been around for a long time. We know them as the most talked about PVR service. Tons of people have used them for years. I have never had the pleasure of owning a TiVo. I remember when the rumors were flying that Comcast was going to start using the TiVo service for their DVRs. I was FRANTIC. But… it never happened. πŸ™ So, I just stuck with my Comcast DVR secretly wishing that I could do all the things that my friends with TiVo could do. πŸ™‚

Things are a little better now. I have gotten over it… mostly. But, after reading about the TiVo Premiere, I would love to check one out. Being able to stream my online content on the SAME BOX where I record would rock! The TiVo Premiere streams Netflix, Blockbuster on Demand, Amazon Video, Pandora, YouTube, and more. AND, it replaces your current cable box (so you can drop that cost from your cable bill!) With the TiVo Premiere as your DVR cable box, you get up to 45 hours of HD recording. The XL version records up to 150 hours! That would be great. Because it always makes me sad to delete things from my DVR when I want to record something new.

What's in the box?

Want to give the gift of TiVo? It has never been more affordable. If you head to Best Buy or order online, you can take advantage of a great offer. The TiVo Premiere is only $99 when you sign up for a 1-year plan at only $19.99 per month. You get a ton of content PLUS DVR recording for a little more than you were paying your cable company for just the DVR service!

If you are looking to give someone a gift they will love consider the TiVo Premiere. For example, your parents who love to watch movies. Or heck, keep it for yourself. πŸ™‚ I know I would!

Just thought I’d let you know that Comcast DOES use Tivo. I use it. You have to ask specifically for it and pay just a tad more to them. I do love the idea of the Premiere though!

You are lucky! I am in the Chicago market and I don’t believe it ever made it to us. πŸ™ I will ask again though! I’ll hit up @comcastcares on Twitter. πŸ™‚ They always respond quickly. Great people!
