The ladies at ChicaLogic have done it again. I posted before about how ChicaPC-Fix saved my laptop by cleaning it up. Well, guess what? I don’t know what I did, but I had to do that again the other day. I think that I must have come across something really bad on the web when downloading a file. You will not believe what it found. 1051 problems! Yes, I said 1051!!! That is INSANE! But it is all better now.

It was easy to install and does not seem to slow down my computer at all like some other programs.

As stated above, I thought that I was already protected. I keep my virus software up to date, and I run scans, and try to be careful. But… it got me anyway. Infections can lead to crashes, slowness, data loss, and probably worst of all… your data ending up in the wrong hands. To protect yourself you need to:
- Protect your Home Network by ensuring your wireless network is password protected
- Run a firewall on your computer
- Keep your virus software up to date
- Run spyware/malware protection like ChicaPC-Shield
