This past weekend at Gleek Retreat I spoke about enhancing your blog posts with photos without sending your readers running for cover. 🙂 You know what I mean… you visit a website and you wait, and wait, and wait for the page to load before finally giving up and moving on to the next one in the Google search list.
We don’t want that to happen. We want users to read our posts. And hopefully look at our photos and go “Ooh, ahh, pretty…”, not run the other way. 🙂
My presentation was based mostly on a post that I wrote not too long ago on Mom Blog Magazine about the same subject.

And if you want to listen to the whole presentation check it out on YouTube. I say listen because although I setup the camera to record myself, I am actually only on camera about 1 minute total. I was standing a little too far to the right in order to click through my slides. LOL! However, the benefit of viewing (listening) to this video is that you get the hear the great advice and questions from the audience.
