Fooz Kids Makes Web Browsing Safe

Fooz Kids Happy Kids are Fooz Kids

Thank you to Fooz Kids for providing me with an All-In-One pack to review. The opinions I've expressed here are solely my own and represent my honest viewpoint.

Web safety is a huge concern of mine when it comes to my kids. I do not want my kids to wander across anything that there little eyes should not see. I love being able to control the websites that they can visit and the times that they can be online.

But it can be a daunting task to load up nanny software, or setup parental controls to achieve what you want. This is where a program like Fooz kids comes in. Fooz Kids is a portal to the internet that runs on your computer. Your kids stay in the program, so they are always safe from the evils of the internet.

Kids sign in to a screen full of icons which point them to their parent approved websites including video, crafts, and games. They can also send messages (email) to approved friends. These  messages are sent within Fooz kids to their friends, or routed out to their parents email address.

For the parents, all of the magic happens behind the scenes in the Parental Dashboard. The Parental Dashboard can only be accessed by logging in with a password. Once in, you can setup many options for your kids. Fooz Kids can be set to automatically launch when the computer starts. This is perfect for the computer that is dedicated to the kids. And it can be set so that the program can only be exited with a password. This keep little ones in Fooz Kids and not elsewhere on the computer.

Parents can add children and customize settings for each including their friends list, and content including games, videos, and crafts. The content list is populated with several kid friendly websites and categorized by age and gender. You can select all, or select only the ones that you want your kids to access in the list. Any website not in the list can be manually added under the “My Channel” screen. This is great for adding family websites, or websites that they may need to access for school.

If you have young kids that are becoming computer savvy, Fooz Kids is the perfect way to give them computer experience without worrying about what they are up to on the web.
