The Holidays are coming. And besides shopping, family, and snow (for some of us) that means food, and lots of it. I love the holidays. I love Thanksgiving. I love everything about it. I love the turkey, the dressing (or stuffing depending on where you are from), mashed potatoes, roast, ham, sweet potato pies, and all of the other good food that comes along with it. I could go on and on! But, as you know… the holiday food splurges sometimes mean that you will end up with the “Go on a Diet” on your New Years resolutions list. HA!

Well if that is the case, check out My Diet Coach Pro. Having just surpassed 25,000 downloads, it is a great app developed to help you lose weight. The apps includes motivational suggestions, a diet diary, exercise journal, and record keeping. Plus you can count calories by calculating what you are eating.

Think of it as your personal trainer or coach that is with you at all times. You don’t have to call or visit the gym. You don’t have to pay a musclebound guy hundreds of dollars a month to yell at you.  You can just open up My Diet Coach and be motivated.

Free features:

  • Perseverance weight loss tips for various challenges
  • Weight loss related Reminders
  • Motivational Aids : motivational photos, food cravings stopwatch, goal setting

Paid features:

  • Diet planner
  • Diet Journal
  • Weight tracking and weight chart

It is true that there is an app for just about everything now. And a diet app just makes sense. In this busy world we are on the go a lot. There used to be the little notepads that people would carry around to keep track of what they ate. But with a smartphone it is much easier. You can easily keep tracks of your meals from day to day, or plan future meals, or count calories.

If you are dieting now, or you know that you are going to be in a diet battle after the holidays, check out My Diet Coach Pro. It can be downloaded from the Android Market for only $1.99. Or, you can grab the FREE version.
