Beat the Black Friday Crowds with Sears Online Shopping

I think I mentioned before that I have NEVER actually gone out and braved the crowds on Black Friday. It is just not something that sounds fun to me. AT.ALL. LOL!!! I am not saying that I never will. As a matter of fact, I see a couple of things that I just might have to find a way to get out for this Friday. Hmm….

But, the majority of my holiday shopping is always done online. So, when I was given the opportunity to go on a Sears shopping spree either in-store or online, I chose online of course. I don’t think that I had actually ever purchased anything online via Sears. I go to the store quite a bit, but had not checked out the online offerings too much. So, I was a bit surprised with just how much there was. It actually took me quite a while to pick out some stuff because there was so much to choose from. Another thing that surprised me is that they actually have a marketplace plugged in to the site. So, even if Sears does not carry an item directly, you just might find it via a marketplace shop!

Also, I love that the website incorporates all of the stores under the Sears umbrella in one site. There are tabs at the top for other stores like Kmart and Lands’ End among others.

There are a lot of good deals on the site. I picked up a few gifts for my kids. It has become kind of a tradition that they always get new pajamas for Christmas. And they are always excited about it! In addition to the jammies I got DVDs, new undies and a couple of other things. And of course I got myself something…

Yes, those boots make me happy. Sigh… Um anyway… the shipping charges were very reasonable. I think I had 8 items and shipping was under $10. I love that! Some websites charge way too much for shipping. You can even get FREE shipping on some qualifying orders using the promo code “REALJOY”. Also, the Sears shopping guarantee makes me feel awesome about my purchase. They call it “Real Joy. Guaranteed.” Love it! Another great thing about this is that if you decide that you don’t like something or it does not fit you can just return it to any brick and mortar Sears store! See it for a lower price? Sears will match it + 10%!

If you are wondering where to shop for the holidays, definitely check out Sears. You can shop online and get it delivered, or even get same day in-store pickup! I love that. Put everything in your cart, checkout, and just run to the store to pick up. No lines. No waiting.

Check out Sears.com for some great deals. And be sure to check them out on Facebook.

UPDATE: Oh wow!! I was shopping late last night and I got extra sleepy so I actually did not complete my online purchase until this morning at around 8:30 am. Just as I was about to hit publish I just got a message at 12:40 that my order has shipped. WOW!!! Now that is service. 🙂
