I just wrote a post about the benefits of having an HP printer with ePrint technology. But besides it being a great resource in your home office, HP is using it for a good cause. HP recently launched eSmiles, a project that works for the good of children and families at various Ronald McDonald houses in the US. The program hopes to raise $50,000 in all.
The houses are located here in Chicago, San Diego, Orange County, Atlanta, and New York. Each house would receive $10,000 to help those in need. So far the program has raised over $5,000.
How it Works: HP ePrint technology enables people to print on the go by securely sending photos and documents directly from a mobile device to a printer’s unique email address – from virtually anywhere. Each participating Ronald McDonald House has its own HP ePrint enabled printer with customized ePrint address, allowing you to send an eSmile to a Ronald McDonald House down the street or around the globe.
