The Intel A Momentary Lapse contest has ended and many winners have been chosen. There are some awesome videos and photos to be viewed. Some of the entries are absolutely breathtaking. I really commend those that had the talent to put together such great works. I am especially intrigued by the photography entries since photography is my thing. I keep telling myself that one day I will enter a photography contest. And seeing all of these entries is inspiring.
Here are a couple of my favorites:
Winner 12 “In Mediation” ~ Matthew TrevinoThere is something to be said about being able to edit a photo in Photoshop and make it great. However, in my opinion there is even more to be said about a photo that starts out great. The above shot is a great composition right off. There is nothing fancy needed to make it what it is.
Winner 7 “Hair Whippin’ Fun in the Sun” ~ Jenny StegallApparently I have a thing for water shots. I love the idea behind this one. It takes a good photographer with a darn good understanding of their camera settings to make a shot like this come out perfect.
As previously mentioned there were a total of 15 winners announced. They prizes up for grabs were cameras, Ultrabooks, and a chance to appear in an Intel Online ad.
And, here on LittleTechGirl.com I held a contest for 10 winners of Cyberlink PowerDirector 10 to help you do some of your own fancy video editing. The winners are:
- Alicia P
- Kim Moldofsky
- Sharon Patrice
- Saif Almuhairbi
- Kat T
- Sheena Tatum
- Tonja Deegan
- Carissa Rogers
- Sidney Reid
- A Gordon
Congrats! Enjoy your new software. 🙂
