Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away??? 2012 has really flown by. Before you know it, it will be Christmas! Thanksgiving is my 2nd favorite holiday behind Christmas. And yes… it is all about the food. I love cooking Thanksgiving dinner and having leftovers for days. 🙂 When most people are getting sick of Turkey I am turning my leftovers into turkey pot pie. Yum!
I will admit that I am not always the most organized person (this is really an understatement!!!) It is a work in progress. 🙂 I have posted before about my love of a certain note taking organization program. My favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner is the turkey. For some reason, I seem to only cook it once a year, and though it makes me sleepy, my turkey is good and tender. What's more, there's always plenty of that big bird to last my family of 8 for a few days. Hey, I probably need to cook a turkey more often. 🙂

My favorite part of Thanksgiving meal is simply having the family together talking about things that we have been thankful for this year. What a great reminder to be thankful for the simple things in life.
My favorite part of thanksgiving is after all the food has been cooked and eaten when my entire family (20+) sits around, plays games, laughs ans enjoys each other.
