11949864481324368756chav_01.svg.medI got home from CES in Vegas late Saturday night. And ever since then I have been in the bed. Ugh! On Wednesday evening I started noticing a scratchy throat. On Thursday morning I woke up sick. I was hoping that it was just a quick cold, but body aches, coughing, chills, and other symptoms said different. Then I watched the news and heard about the flu epidemic which was taking over 47 states including Nevada. Oh great! Ugh. It has not been fun. It has been a while since I was this sick. I don’t like it one bit!

After spending over a full day in bed I am trying to get back into the swing. I am at my desk now, but still feel like poo. But the show much go on. I have my tea. I’m wrapped in warm jammies. I have on my cozy Sharper Image slippers, and I have my Kleenex. What more do I need? Oh yeah… how about to not be sick? 🙂

I wanted 2013 to start off with a bang. I really only had one or two resolutions which were to stop procrastinating and to catch up. But then I started 2013 with a week long trip and sickness. Oy! But that is ok. Today is only Jan 14. The year is still very, very young!

Now I need to reach back in the energy reserve and catch up on all the things that did not get finished in 2012. And trust me… it is a lot. Plus I now have a whole slew of things that I want to write about from CES. And there are some other exciting announcements coming up as well. I am trying my best to be a better blogger, and a better business person in 2013. I can do it!! Right? Right! LOL! Well… after I get all better.

How is your year going so far?

Rest up and get well soon.  We do understand and can’t wait to read up on CES.
