Tech Days of Christmas Giveaways: iLuv MobiAria Bluetooth Speaker with Review

December 11, 2013 by Kris McDonald Leave a Comment

Sorry for the delay in getting up this giveaway. Yesterday was a crazy day of travel! Without further adieu… here you go….

iLuv_MobiAria

Music keeps the world dancing, singing, and feeling good. Well, except for the Blues. LOL. Seriously though, portable speakers seem to be all the rage right now. I have a round-up coming very soon, but for now I want to talk to you about the iLuv MobiAria and Aud 5. They have a fancy names, and they live up to them.

I received the iLuv MobiAria as well as the iLuv Aud 5 lightening dock for review. Both are awesome. Here are my thoughts on each.

iLuv Aud 5

The iLuv Aud 5 is a lightening dock speaker. This means that you can plug your iPhone 5, 5c, 5s or 5th gen iPod Touch into the dock for sounds wherever you are. It will also charge your phone while connected. I use it with my iPod Touch. And I must say that I am pretty impressed with the sound. The unit is well made, and sounds great. The unit also includes an audio input so that you can connect non-lightening dock devices.

From the site: Amazing Acoustic Quality The Aud 5™ was designed to wow you. It was built with full-range speakers for sound that won't disappoint and a passive radiator for deep, resonant bass. If your main focus is sound, Aud 5™ is sure to please.
That about sums it up. I keep the Aud 5 in my master bedroom for when I want to play music, but don't feel like going down to the family room and turning on the huge speakers. So far it does not disappoint. When you look at the size of the speaker you might not expect the full range of sound that comes out of it.

iLuv MobiAria

The iLuv MobiAria is a larger unit than the Aud 5. And it is Bluetooth enabled, so that you can connect any Bluetooth enabled device to it to stream music. The function is about the same as yge Aud 5, however you can do even more since you can connect via Bluetooth. Don't want to use Bluetooth? Connect it with your phone via NFC. How cool is that? And the MobiAria includes a USB charging port in the back to charge your phone while you listen.

Paring the MobiAria is fool-proof with the included voice prompts that let you know exactly when the pairing is successful.

This unit is awesome for a bedroom, family room where you don't have a full stereo, kid's room, or just about anywhere.

And now… Win a MobiAria of your own!
