Can you believe that almost half of the year is gone already? Here we are only 5 days away from Mother’s Day 2014. Did you get Mom a gift yet? If not, what are you waiting for! Instead of the traditional flowers and candy. And don’t buy mom something that she does not want! Make sure that it’s something she will love. I just posted recently that moms these days love gadgets! My ideal Mother’s Day gift would be a popular gadget. Flowers and candy are nice gestures, but they don’t last long. Jewelry, gadgets, clothing, shoes… these are all MUCH better ideas with staying power!

However, if you are unsure of what to get mom how about a gift card? And not just a gift card that limits what she can purchase, but a gift card that gives her endless options! Send her an eBay gift card. There are plenty of goodies on eBay that I would like. One of my favorite finds on eBay include Chuck Taylor sneakers. Ok, I have a serious obsession to them! More on that later. LOL! I have also purchased camera equipment, gadget accessories, purses, and more! I would have NO problem finding something that I love on eBay. The categories are endless. Jewelry, shoes, electronics, kitchen gadgets, and designer fashion are just a few of the great categories that your mom or wife can check out and shop from.

If Mom has her eBay gift card saved right in her account she can use her eBay Mobile app to shop from wherever she is! It’s super easy. I have bought quite a few things using my eBay Mobile app. I love some of the newer features:

1. Improved Notifications: Get notifications when items that you are watching are close to ending, if you are outbid, or when you win an auction. You can also setup search notifications to be alerted when items that you are interested in are posted.

2. Improved Design on both iPhone and Windows Phone: The app has been made more user friendly to help shopping and listing.

3. Better Search: Find exactly what you are looking for using improved search. Find items by color, size, brand, condition, and several categories.

Have mom download the new improved eBay Mobile app today so that she can pick out something nice! She may even decide to use it to sell a few things in her home. The mobile app makes that super easy. I use it all the time to list things!
