Sony Noise Canceling Headphones Bring Your Music to Life

September 17, 2018 by Kris McDonald 1 Comment

My husband is a DJ and music producer. One thing that I have learned from him is that not all headphones are created equal. Of course I know this myself, too. Over the years I have tried many types and brands. And let me tell you, many times you get what you pay for. This may not be a big deal for someone who is just listening to music for fun, or to pass the time at work. However, for someone whose job it is to listen to music… great headphones can make a huge difference.

I know that my husband loves the Sony brand of headphones. He had some for many, many years that served him well. I purchased some for my sons that sounded great… until like typical kids, they destroyed them. 😐 Moving on…

The Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Canceling Over-theEar Headphones are made to provide you with music, and nothing else. This means that there are no extra noises interrupting your music. You hear the music as the artist intended. This is very important for DJs who may be attempting to match up beats for blending from song to song. Background noises would cause you to miss a beat, and the crowd to give you strange looks.

Sony Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones Features

Industry-leading noise canceling: Sony’s proprietary HD Noise Canceling Processor QN1 brings the WH-1000XM3 to the pinnacle of noise cancellation. This sounds like something I would love on an airplane. It is usually hard for me to sleep because of the extra noises around. Music helps.

Premium Sound: The 40mm drivers with Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) diaphragms are Hi-Res Audio compatible, reproducing a full range of frequencies.

All-day listening with quick charging: Listen all day with up to 30 hours of playback and quick charging that gives five hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charge time. This is awesome! This means you would have plenty of time for a quick charge at the airport before a long flight.

Smart Listening: Smart Listening by Adaptive Sound Control automatically detects your activity such as traveling, walking, and waiting, then adjusts ambient sound settings to you.

Google Assistant built-in: The Google Assistant is very helpful when on the go. On the Sony Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones, you can simply press and hold the noise-canceling button and ask your phone's assistant something while pressing. Ask it questions. Tell it to do things. It's your own personal assistant, always ready to help.

Quick Attention mode: With Quick Attention, you can communicate without removing your headphones – simply place your hand over the housing to turn the volume down for instant conversation.

Although, they are wireless, these headphones do include an audio cable for wired listening. This means you can plug them directly into your phone, computer, or even the headphone jack on your gaming controller. The side includes touch controls for volume, rewind or fast-forward, and making calls. The Sony Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones are available in traditional black and a snazzy silver finish. They come with a padded carrying case to protect them while traveling.  The Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Canceling Over-theEar Headphones are $349.99. Pricey? Yes. But, if you are serious about your music they are worth it.
