How To Transform Your Bathtub Into A Comfortable Piece Of Paradise

It’s the end of a long week, and nothing sounds better than slipping into the tub for a relaxing soak. You wish you could stay in there for hours with your bath bombs and ambient lighting, but the reality is that your tub just isn’t that comfortable. And seeing as you’re teetering on the edge of looking up the best bath remodeling contractors, you need to make a change to the comfort of your bathroom ASAP!

You feel a bit cramped in the tub, and there isn’t anywhere to rest your head so you can relax. This dampens the whole experience and means you’re out of there in five minutes with barely enough time to decompress. So, it’s time to turn your tub into a far more relaxing and comfortable haven that helps you de-stress, and here’s what you need to do:

Maximize Room In Your Tub

If your tub is too small, there’s not always a lot you can do outside of removing it and getting a brand-new one. There is one other option that comes to mind: take out the faucets and mount them on the wall.

It’s a genius idea; the faucets often encroach over your bath and stop you from resting your feet or head. If they’re stuck to the wall, then you open up way more bathtub space and can actually stretch out and relax. It’s not the hardest switch up either – look for plumbers nearby to come in and handle the installation for you. The water pipes are already in place, so it’s just a matter of doing a bit of drilling and cutting to fit the new faucets on the wall!

Get A Spa Pillow For Your Head

One of the big reasons you feel uncomfortable in your tub is that you don’t like resting your head against the side. It’s cold and hard, so it’s never possible to fully relax. Undo this problem with a proper spa pillow that sticks to the bath. You can position it however you want with suction cups and lie back to enjoy the softness against your head.

These pillows are so diverse – some are even available in a waterproof memory foam – so you’re bound to find one that feels nice and fits your bath. You don’t need to conduct any bathroom renovations to install the pillow, which makes it the easiest way to enhance your tub’s comfort.

Utilize A Tub Tray

Another reason your tub feels uncomfortable is the lack of practicality it poses. You want to read a book or watch a show, but there’s nowhere to place your things. You can’t balance the iPad on the side of the tub – and sitting up with your arms ahead of you while reading is super uncomfortable.

Make the entire bath experience more serene and comfortable with a tub tray. These trays fit over the bath and give you enough space to prop up a book, light some candles, store your phone, etc. It makes the tub so much more practical, so you can actually enjoy your bath without constantly leaning over the side to try and grab things.

Viola! Any bathtub will turn into a comfortable piece of paradise with these three ideas. Make more room for yourself, provide some head/neck support, and improve tub practicality for a beautiful, stress-relieving experience.
