Finally!! Gmail Tasks

Most of us have been waiting for this forever, and now it’s here. You can have a tasks list right in your Gmail account. Also, it can be poppe out to float independently on your screen similar to Gmail chat. And, even better, you can have more than one list. I created one for Household, Personal, Business, etc. I love that no matter where I go, I will now have my tasks. Now, I just need to figure out how to get them on my iPhone. I’m sure they will add that soon.

To add it to your account, click on Settings at the top of your account, then Labs, and then Enable button and save. You will then have “Tasks” over in the lefthand column under Contacts. Read more on the Google Blog.

    I’ve noticed the labs section of Gmail has some pretty nice features, I but don’t think I’m ready to give up my Thunderbird mail client or my Remember the Milk account just yet.
