How to Fix the Photoshop CS4 Mouse Jumping Issue

I had been having this problem for a while. I would try to drag something to move it in Photoshop and it would jump clear across the screen or disappear completely! This happened one too many times, so I jumped online and found that Adobe has released a fix for this very issue.

    Thanks! As you can imagine it's pretty maddening to edit photos with this mouse problem hehehe

    I will try rebooting, and use some canned air on this mouse and mousepad in case it's some kind of debris. It's really maddening!

    That is strange! I wonder if something else interfered with it. I would say install it again and see what happens.

    yes indeed, restarted a bunch of times, even got a new mouse and mouse pad. this has been happening on and off for months, the “fix” fixed it for a few days, and it is back 🙁
