Is it really all about the hair? Why yes, yes it is… with Hot Locks dolls! Hot Locks dolls just launched in the Chicago and Phoenix. My girls and I were sent a really cute doll to review courtesy of MomSelect, BSM Media, and Hot Locks. We all know that little girls love to comb dolls hair. Well there is plenty of it here to comb. Each doll has 14 inches of hair to comb, style, and even flat iron. They are very brightly colored, fashionable little dolls. My girls really enjoyed combing their hair.
As a mom with big fingers, I have one complaint. That flat iron is made to put the “hair jewels” on the hair using little velcro that sticks to the hair. Well putting those things in with my fingers was no easy feat! And then once they were in, they did not stick to the hair. But of course the girls did not seem to mind! They just combed and combed. And they love the extra hair for them. We had just spent time at a party at Sweet & Sassy and they got makeovers and had some of those strands of colorful hair put in. This reminded them of that and their makeovers.
Hot Locks has also given me a doll to give away to you (or your daughter!), but hey… whatever tickles your fancy!

I know it's a stretch for me to remember SOOO far back, but I had a Velvet doll and actually have her in her box in the basement. My mom saved it for me. LOL! Her hair “grew.”
