Give the Gift of Direction with Navteq

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NAVTEQ. All opinions are 100% mine.

In-Dash NavHave you ever followed the directions on your GPS only to find once you get there that the place is not there anymore? No? Well, I have. It is no fun. Especially in Chicago… in the dead of winter… during a blizzard. Ugh. Bad memories.
Anyway, why does this happen? Because the navigation software is out of date. Yep, that needs updating too. You update your computer software, your virus protection, your device drivers, right? Well what do you think runs that navigation system? It’s a computer! That software needs to be kept up-to-date as well with a map update.
If this has happened to you, be sure that you update your in dash navigation software ASAP.
Or, give the gift of Navteq! Navteq is the driving source (pun intended) behind just about all in-dash navigation systems. You can make sure that your parents, spouse, or children who drive have updated systems so that they always arrive safely to the right location. And it is simple. Just visit the site, choose the vehicle, and purchase the update.
It is a gift that you don’t have to worry about the receiver re-gifting! They will appreciate it very much. And every time they hear that little seductive voice tell them “Turn right at the next light and follow the motorway,” they will think of you. 🙂

Thank You for the review.. can you tell me if you can use this for geocache or do is that a different device. Been looking around trying to find something for our oldest in Scouts that he can use for geocache and to help with driving directions.
