Over on Mom Blog Magazine, I just wrote about the 5 Technology Products I Cannot Live Without. On the list I included high speed internet! And I also included my laptop. Well if you use these 2 things, it is not cool to be tied to a desk because you have to plug your laptop in to an ethernet, or worse… a dial-up line.
High Speed Wireless is the way to go! I recently reviewed a Cisco Valet which I am using right now. So far, so good! The connection is very strong! I have the router in my basement which is where my cable modem resides. I live in a quad level home and I have had no problems getting a nice strong connection from all corners of the house.
Do you need a new router? Or do you know someone that needs to be brought up to the 21st century?? Win one!

I need this router so I can sit further from the modem than the Ethernet cable can reach…. and yes, I remember dial-up. I remember having a 1200 baud modem and thinking that was so awesome.

my parents need a new router. They took the old one from my brother’s house when he passed away so his kids could come over and use their laptops. They definitely need an upgrade.

I REM. diap up. Never again. I actually walked into an old dry cleaners weeks ago and they had dial up. haha
It would be for my family bc we desperatly need one! Bte my computer use and husbands Xbox and now my own blog. We have a cheapie router from walmart that we got years ago!
It would be for me and then I could call the cable company and tell them to pick theirs up ASAP.
It would be nice to be updated with a router that would work in all places in my house! I would for sure put it into fantastic use… As it is there are select locations that work in my house with the router we currently have! It gets to be a pain for both my daughter and I with our laptops and with the one desktop we have! I shudder to think of dial-up as even an option but i knwo certain areas around me only have dial-up ! Thank goodness i decided not to move to the country country!
