I just heard on the news this morning that 70% of cell phone users still do not have smartphones. That is a huge number and hard to believe. When I am out roaming I swear everyone around me is using an iPhone, an Android phone, or a Blackberry. But, apparently we are in the minority.
What is holding people back? Most likely it is the cost. Smartphones are costly. But, what if you can win a shiny, fancy, full-featured smartphone for FREE?!?
I’m working with T-Mobile on an awesome campaign. Right now in this post you can enter to win an awesome T-Mobile myTouch! I wrote a full review of T-Mobile myTouch Slide not too long ago.
Or…
You could win a slightly more awesome T-Mobile myTouch Q!!
Both of these phones run the Android OS so you can download tons of apps, connect easily with your Gmail account, Twitter, Facebook, and more. And guess what? They run on T-Mobile’s FAST 4G network, so you will never be behind.. 🙂
The Giveaway
To enter to win one of these awesome phones, just do the following (REQUIRED). And a note, this is my first giveaway using Rafflecopter. It should make entering super easy.:
The contest will run until Tuesday, November 16th at 11:59pm CST!
GOOD LUCK!!!!

How long until the phone starts having bugs (like the GX2) – and how long will it continue to get updated to the latest android software (like the T-mobile Vibrant probably won’t get a gingerbread update).

What service plan is the best one? What phone is the most reliable? Will it meets the needs of the person I am
buying for. Will they like the style or type of phone that I choose? What is the return policy if they use the
phone for a little while then change their mind and don’t want it? What is the warranty and replacement if it should stop working or become damaged?

What is the biggest question you have when it comes to buying a wireless product as a gift?
My biggest question I have when it comes to buying a wireless product as a gift is will the person like and use is. Because phones come with a 2 year service plan majority of the time. And I would not like to buy someone a phone that they would not like to have for a few years. Now a days people are very particular when it comes to cell phones. Also a question I would have to ask myself to start looking for a phone is how will the phone be used. So another big question I have when it comes to buying a wireless product as a gift is where to find unbiased comparison charts and looking for the find features of a phone that match the person of interest.

My biggest concerns when buying a cell phone for someone as a gift are: #1 Will the phone work on their carrier’s network? and #2 Will they like the phone?
Kelster
I really hate buying wireless products as gifts. My preferences are sometimes different from my mother’s or my brother’s. However, I do try to think about the things they liked and the things they hated in their last phones and try to improve on that.
