As a parent of young kids, my house is covered in LEGOs!! I even have some LEGOs that I have had since I was a kid! My boys especially love building things. Jayden is the building expert. That boy can build a tower with the best of them! π We have several kits that ultimately ended up all mixed together. But that does not bother them. They just keep building.
I can admit that I love LEGOs as well. Nothing like sitting among a pile of those little building blocks and bringing something to life. It is very therapeutic. And of course I had to show my kids who the REAL master builder is. π
Rest assured, no LEGOs were harmed in the snapping of this photo. π They played well wouldn’t you say? And yes… they cleaned them all up! LOL! They are more organized in their play now and build some awesome things.
If you and your kiddos love LEGOs as much as we do, you will certainly want to check out the LEGO Brickation summer event in Traverse City, MI. The event runs from June 6thΒ β July 17th. It is located at 300 E. Front St. Traverse City, MI 49686 and runs daily from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm. Traverse City is just a short 5.5 hour drive from Chicago. I’m thinking a weekend getaway with the kids would be awesome.

I do not remember playing with Legos, but boy oh boy, do my kids love Legos! I wish we lived closer to a legoland or someplace that focuses on Legos.
Yes, I did play with legos when I younger, I was on a FLL team. We built lego robots & went to FLL competitions.
We loved playing with Legos when we were kids! We always created houses.
I don’t remember playing with Legos much when I was a kid but I have the chance to remake my childhood with my son. I had to buy extra shelves for all of the Star Wars Lego ships in his room!
