I have been basking in some much needed rest the past few days. Before that was a whirlwind! Whew! More on that in another post. As previously mentioned, one of the awesome things that I got to do during my busy time was host a lunch with a few Chicago bloggers to celebrate the new 2013 designs from Tiny Prints. We had a GREAT time. Much tweeting was done. If you missed it, you can check out the #TinyPrintsCheer hashtag. There are many pictures to be seen, and some great ideas for sharing holiday cards.

I arranged lunch at Fogo de Chao with 9 other Chicago bloggers. In attendance were:

  • Sidney from Hysterical Mom
  • Michelle from Honest and Truly
  • Keyonda fromĀ A Real Urban Mom
  • Allie from Allie Ferriera
  • Samantha from The Peanuts Gang
  • Clair from Mummy Deals
  • Natasha from Houseful of Nicholes
  • Michelle from Domestic Executive Online
  • Alli from Couponing for 4

It was a great group!

Now if you are a steak lover and you have never been to Fogo de Chao you are missing out! Fogo de Chao is a Brazilian Steakhouse. We visited the new location recently opened in Rosemont, IL. I first visited this location last month for another event. I instantly fell in love, so I knew that it would be a great location for this lunch. I will tell you just a little bit about how this restaurant works. You can call it all you can eat, a buffet, or whatever term you want to use, it all fits. You can eat until you fall out. LOL. šŸ™‚ However, this is not your typical buffet restaurant. It is very classy. You serve yourself from a salad bar that includes a ton of fresh ingredients, however all of the fine cuts of meat are served to you by gaucho chefs. As long as you keep your card on green they will bring more meat. Flip it to red when you need a break.

The were used to set the table. This made for a beautiful festive setting. There were so many varieties and samples. There was plenty to keep our eyes and hands busy during dinner.

While eating very, very well we talked Tiny Prints. We looked at some of the great designs mentioned in my previous post such as All that Glitters, Bold Expressions, Simply Chic, Woodland Wonder, and The New Tradition. We all agreed that the bracket edge adds something special to the card designs. Sidney, showed us her favorite card here:

And for tweeting out her favorite card, Sidney won some Winter Wishes gift tags.

We also gave away some beautiful Thank You cards to Michelle.

And some Red and Green Dot Thank you Cards to Keyonda.

We had a fabulous time. We ate very well. We laughed, we talked, and we walked away with some awesome ideas for our 2013 Holiday cards. Guest walked away with some awesome Tiny Prints gifts:

There were also other events going on around the same time! The other bloggers that participated were:

  • Houston Area: Rachel fromĀ Following In My Shoes
  • Miami Area: April fromĀ April Go Lightly
  • New York Area: Krissy fromĀ B-Inspired Mama
  • Los Angeles Area: Pauline fromĀ Club ChicaCircle

Check out their posts about their Tiny Prints events. It looks like we all had a great time. And please visit the website for more beautiful designs to make your holiday card giving special.

Disclosure: This post is brought to you on behalf of Tiny Prints and Mom It Forward. I was compensated for my involvement in this campaign. All opinions are my own.
