We are still in the midst of 2015 wedding season, and many couples may be planning their their 2016 weddings and wondering what to do about their registry. Not too long ago I told you about the launch of the Best Buy Wedding Registry. If you are over the traditional registry items of china, pot and pans, and linens, the Best Buy Wedding Registry is a great alternative. Having just gotten married in June, I know the worry that comes with registering, and wondering what your guests might bring. But you cannot go wrong with registering at Best Buy. Best Buy is full of technology… televisions, stereo equipment, large appliances, small appliances, entertainment furniture, gaming systems…. whatever tech or accessories you can think of to outfit your new place, Best Buy probably has it.
As you and your soon to be spouse think about merging households, think about some of the items that may need to be upgraded. Or just think of items that you both really want. 🙂 Thinking of a large item? Group Gifting allows couples to register for big ticket items. Gift-givers contribute what they can afford, and couples can ask for the gifts they really want and not worry about price point. Gifts over $200 are eligible for Group Gifting. You will receive an e-gift card to help you purchase your gift!
Here are 5 of my favorite items from Best Buy to add to your registry.
Philips Sonicare – DiamondClean Rechargeable Toothbrush – I received one of these for review a while ago and I love it! You be may thinking that this is a strange gift for couples, but you want to keep that shining smile that your new spouse loves so much don’t you? With several modes ranging from clean to whiten to sensitive it will help you keep your teeth and smile looking great. The Sonicare DiamondClean comes with 2 heads so that couples can share if they really want to. However, once you start using it you will want your own, so you should probably register for two of them. 🙂 Priced at $189.99 it’s a pricey toothbrush, but it’s worth it.
Epson – EX3220 Svga 3lcd Projector – I’m a huge fan of movie nights by projector. And just think about inviting friends and family over to watch your wedding video on the big screen. I have a sister model of this projector, The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 600 and it’s awesome. It’s the 2nd Epson projector that I have owned with the previous model being over 10 years old and still working perfectly! The Epson EX3220 weighs only 5.3 lbs and can easily be transported around the house or beyond. You can project onto a screen or even a white wall. The Epson Ex3220 is $349.99.
Char-broil – Trentino Outdoor Fireplace – Black – Fall is coming, and planning romantic nights on the patio may be on your list. As it gets cooler you will want to cuddle up and keep warm. This outdoor fireplace is awesome for that. I was thinking about getting a fire pit, but I think I like the look of this one. At only $87.99 this is a great gift idea for a newlywed couple who loves the outdoors.
Google – Chromecast – Another one of my favorite gadgets the Google Chromecast allows you to cast (project) videos, apps, and other media from your PC, Mac, iOS, or Android devices to your TV. Not only great for at home, the Chromecast can be used while traveling in a hotel as well with a couple of workarounds. At only $29.99 the Chromecast is quite a bit cheaper than other media streaming options. And it has a lot of uses.
Keurig – Elite Single-Serve Brewer – Oh how I love my Keurig! While married couples may share love, they may not always share a love of the same coffee brand or flavor. The Keurig Single-Serve Brewer allows you each to have a cup of your favorite coffee. And the wide variety of K-Cups available makes it easy to offer up a cup of coffee to guests eager to visit the newlyweds. Now on sale for only $99.99 this is a great gift idea.
